ROLE OVERVIEW

Drata is seeking a Financial Analyst to become a pivotal member of our growing Accounting and Finance team. This role blends financial strategy with hands-on analysis and reporting, providing critical insights to leadership and supporting operational excellence across the organization.

As a Financial Analyst, you’ll be involved in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and decision support in a fast-paced, startup-style environment. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across departments to help shape and drive financial strategies as we scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with business units to deliver weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports and analytics.

  • Prepare integrated revenue and expense forecasts, scenario models, and dashboards.

  • Drive the coordination and review of monthly forecasts and the annual budget process.

  • Deliver insightful variance analysis on key performance metrics and financial results.

  • Create models to assess P&L and cash flow impacts of business initiatives and investment decisions.

  • Monitor and report the financial impact of business initiatives to ensure achievement of financial targets.

  • Present clear and concise financial narratives to stakeholders to drive decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in financial analysis or a related analytical role.

  • Background in SaaS or public company FP&A is preferred but not required.

  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills with strong modeling capabilities.

  • Proficient in Google Slides/PowerPoint for presentations.

  • Skilled in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance reporting.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across departments.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about continuous learning and development.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

SALARY RANGE

Drata follows a tier-based system tied to geographic labor costs. Salary ranges may vary based on your location and professional experience:

  • Tier 1 (High Cost Areas): $88,400 – $109,200

  • Tier 2 (Mid Cost Areas): $79,600 – $98,300

  • Tier 3 (Lower Cost Areas): $70,700 – $87,400
