ROLE OVERVIEW

m2m is recruiting three Drivers to support a USAID-funded health program operating in Mpumalanga Province (Ehlanzeni, Nkangala, and Gert Sibande districts). This role plays a vital part in supporting logistics, transportation, and field operations, ensuring the delivery of services to children living with HIV (CLHIV) and their families. The contract runs from 1 July to 15 September 2025, with a possibility of adjustment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Driving and Vehicle Management

  • Conduct a daily vehicle checklist before use

  • Ensure the vehicle is fueled and roadworthy for each trip

  • Transport project staff according to planned activities

  • Report vehicle damage, maintenance needs, and license expiry to the Finance and Operations Manager

  • Maintain and submit vehicle monitoring reports including mileage, fuel logs, and GPS tracking summaries

2. Data and Field Tools Handling

  • Deliver and collect M&E tools, forms, and data securely

  • Print and package tools for field use

  • Maintain a well-organised filing system for reports and documents

3. Administrative Support

  • Receive and verify deliveries such as stationery and supplies

  • Deliver project materials, documentation, and equipment to designated offices

  • Support the completion of vehicle paperwork and renewals

  • Assist field workers in client servicing, offering logistical and motivational support

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate (compulsory)

  • 5–10 years professional driving experience

  • Valid and unendorsed South African driver’s license

  • Proven clean driving record

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Basic computer literacy: MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Pastel

  • Good communication skills and fluency in English and a local language

  • High integrity, professionalism, and problem-solving skills

  • Presentable with excellent planning and time management

  • Comfortable working non-standard hours and supporting fieldwork

  • Team-oriented with a strong customer-service mindset
