This General Worker vacancy is based at VKB Retail in Reitz, located in the Free State province.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The General Worker will support day-to-day retail operations by assisting with cleaning, stock handling, and general duties to ensure a tidy, efficient, and customer-friendly environment. This is an entry-level role ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic and the ability to perform manual labor.
The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of store activities while upholding VKB’s high standards of service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the loading and offloading of stock and goods

Ensure the store premises are clean, neat, and safe at all times

Perform general tidiness and housekeeping duties across the retail space

Support stock control and inventory tasks under supervision

Follow safety policies and standard operating procedures

Assist customers and suppliers with loading/unloading as required

Perform ad hoc tasks as delegated by store management
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification

Physically fit and capable of manual labor

Willing to work in a retail and outdoor environment

Basic literacy and numeracy skills

Strong commitment to safety, tidiness, and service
