ROLE OVERVIEW
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee all shift operations to ensure the accurate and timely execution of both T1 and T2 load plans. This role plays a pivotal part in optimizing warehouse processes, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining high safety and quality standards. You’ll lead warehouse teams, drive operational excellence, and help deliver best-in-class customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Control:
-
Lead the daily inventory count process.
-
Investigate and address inventory variances using root cause analysis and problem-solving tools.
-
Implement and manage tools to ensure FIFO/FEFO stock rotation.
-
Monitor and enhance Inventory Accuracy KPIs.
-
Ensure SAP system reflects real-time inventory movements.
-

Warehouse Layout Management:
-
Maintain layout discipline across Empties, Refusal, Order Picking, Repack, and Finished Goods zones.

Track cleanliness, pest control, cross-contamination risks, temperature control, and product exposure.

Implement a location-based inventory system and maintain compliance to Global Warehouse GOP standards.

Quality and Repacking:

Supervise and optimize repacking activities aligned with quality standards.

Conduct product quality inductions and ensure non-conforming inventory is blocked and reported.

Picking & Productivity Standards:
-
Enforce standardized picking processes.
-
Track and improve picking accuracy and productivity using warehouse management tools.
-
Use the SKAP tool for labor allocation and enhance workforce productivity.
-

Warehouse Operations:
-
Drive and track 5S improvements.
-
Develop SOPs and ensure full employee understanding through training and routine checks.
-
Conduct team meetings to review KPIs and implement corrective actions.
-
Use tools like 5 WHY, SICs, PDCA, and OPLs for performance improvement.

Safety Compliance:
-
Foster a culture of safety and ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures.

Oversee safe loading/unloading practices, including tracking PI metrics like bay time utilization and TCT.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Relevant 3-year diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or logistics role

Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Skilled in using handheld inventory devices and warehouse management systems
