Role Overview

The Financial Advisor position is designed for an entrepreneurial and customer-focused individual. You will offer tailored financial solutions to a diverse client base by analyzing their needs and presenting appropriate product packages. This is a long-term relationship role focused on building trust, providing exceptional client service, and driving financial inclusion through Liberty’s trusted portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage a portfolio of clients with continuous engagement

  • Conduct needs analysis and present suitable financial solutions

  • Regularly review clients’ financial plans to align with life and market changes

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest financial services products and industry trends

  • Ensure full compliance with Liberty’s regulatory, compliance, and ethical standards

  • Generate new business opportunities and contribute to Liberty’s growth in the Northern Cape

  • Participate in Liberty’s training programs and maintain necessary certifications

  • Represent Liberty at client meetings, community engagements, and sales events

Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (essential)

  • A FAIS-recognized qualification is required within six years of DOFA

  • A laptop or tablet is essential to perform daily duties

  • Experience in sales (face-to-face or telephonic) is advantageous

  • Industry knowledge and exposure to the financial services sector will be beneficial

  • High degree of integrity, professionalism, and ethical awareness

  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
