Role Overview

The Customer Refresh Project Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the execution of customer due diligence refresh projects in compliance with internal risk frameworks and regulatory requirements. This hybrid role combines on-site work in Quatre Bornes with remote collaboration, providing the flexibility to operate within a modern work culture while leading a highly visible and mission-critical project.

The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) policies, and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve set objectives within strict timelines. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations and execution of the Customer Refresh Project in alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance

  • Ensure timely and accurate refresh of customer profiles in accordance with AML/CFT policies and procedures

  • Collaborate with project teams, compliance officers, and operations managers to streamline workflows and remove bottlenecks

  • Monitor progress and prepare detailed reports on the status of the project, highlighting areas of risk or concern

  • Escalate complex issues and provide resolution strategies to ensure seamless execution

  • Support quality assurance processes, ensuring data integrity and regulatory accuracy in documentation

  • Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to project team members

  • Coordinate with IT and digital transformation departments to leverage automation tools where possible

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Higher Certificate or Advanced National Certificate in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies is required

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in financial services, banking, or project management roles

  • Proven expertise in customer due diligence (CDD), KYC, and AML procedures

  • Excellent project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in Mauritius and broader African financial services environment is an advantage

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and project management software
