🚗 Role Overview
As a Logistics Driver, you will play a vital role in the vehicle transport process by ensuring the efficient and safe movement of company and client vehicles between branches, clients, and internal departments. You will be expected to maintain company vehicle integrity, uphold traffic and company compliance, and represent WeBuyCars with integrity on the road.
This is a full-time permanent role suitable for an individual with a valid driver’s license and a strong sense of responsibility.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Drive for vehicle collections and transportation as assigned by management

Ensure daily sign-in at the Logistics Office for timekeeping and attendance tracking

Maintain the condition of company vehicles, ensuring cleanliness and reporting any defects or incidents

Operate within South African traffic laws and company safety regulations

Perform vehicle movements as requested for buyers, logistics, or operational needs
-
Report mechanical issues or road incidents to management immediately

Comply with all Health & Safety Guidelines within the logistics department

Adhere to company policy: No unauthorized passengers may be transported

Support the business by promoting and maintaining WeBuyCars’ professional image while on duty

Assist with other operational tasks as directed by supervisors or managers
📋 Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the role, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

Valid South African Driver’s License (Code 8 or higher preferred)

Minimum of Grade 10 education (Matric preferred)

Must reside in or near Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal

Ability to work Monday to Saturday, including some public holidays as required

Good knowledge of KwaZulu-Natal road networks and basic route planning

No criminal record

Must be punctual, reliable, and have a strong work ethic

Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely

Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic automotive logistics environment
