Role Overview

Hollywoodbets is currently seeking to appoint four dynamic Product Specialists to join its iBranch team in Umhlanga. These individuals will be responsible for overseeing online betting products with a specific focus on sports, slots, and casino games. The role involves analyzing daily product performance, maintaining current platforms, and launching new features to drive user engagement and revenue growth.

You Bring

Experience in reporting and data analysis
Good knowledge of sports betting and online gaming environments

Bonus to Have

A Diploma or Degree in a related field
A valid driver’s license and access to own vehicle

Product Specialist Key Responsibilities

Maintain and improve all current betting platforms including the mobisite, website, and USSD
Provide leadership on product strategy, development, and deployment
Conduct competitor analysis and identify innovations to stay ahead of the market
Create and manage development project plans, timelines, and deliverables
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance applications such as Refer a Friend, SyX, TUV, and other products
Ensure all new features undergo testing and meet quality assurance benchmarks before live rollout
Analyze customer behavior and recommend feature enhancements to improve user experience
Produce detailed reports on competitor activities and market insights
Address customer and audit queries by implementing proactive solutions to reduce issues
Write Business Requirement Documents to guide development teams and communicate product visions
Lead group testing for software and applications to ensure functionality and reliability
Conduct risk assessments and fraud analysis for all relevant products
Collaborate with betting traders to optimize Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) margins and apply corrective strategies when necessary
Manage and respond to betting-related client queries
Review and analyze betting odds for accuracy and risk exposure
Monitor high-risk or high-spending clients and implement control mechanisms
Define front-end and back-end requirements for SyX and other platforms
Track and report on product metrics and performance indicators
Negotiate partner contracts and identify commercial opportunities for better value or cost reduction
Support marketing initiatives and strategy rollouts for retail and online channels
Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure approvals across all regulated provinces
Review contracts for additional value and commercial viability
Build and maintain partner relationships to grow product performance and user engagement
