Role Overview
VKB Retail in Warden is seeking an energetic and customer-oriented Cashier to handle all cash and card transactions efficiently. Key Responsibilities

Process all point-of-sale (POS) transactions including cash, debit, and credit card payments.

Deliver consistent and courteous customer service at the till.

Issue receipts, refunds, or change accurately, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.

Reconcile and record daily takings in line with company procedures.

Perform daily banking duties for all cash and cheque payments.

Support back-office administration related to card customers and payment allocations.

Assist in handling customer queries or complaints in a professional manner.

Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) or NQF Level 4 equivalent.

Basic computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).

Fluent communication in Afrikaans and/or English.
Recommended:

Previous experience in a cashier, teller, or front desk retail role.

Experience in an agricultural or rural retail setting will be advantageous.
