Role Overview
The company is seeking General Workers to support daily operational activities at mining or tailings management sites. The successful candidates will be responsible for housekeeping, basic site maintenance, and ensuring tools and safety protocols are followed. This is an opportunity for physically fit and reliable individuals to join a respected mining service provider and contribute to efficient and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities

Perform housekeeping and general cleaning duties on the site to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Attend daily pre-shift and risk assessment meetings to ensure awareness of potential hazards.

Inspect and maintain tools to ensure they remain in safe working condition.

Identify and report any unsafe working conditions or behaviours to supervisors or safety personnel.

Maintain communication with management on job-related matters and site requirements.

Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations as well as internal operational procedures.

Support the site team with ad hoc operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 (Matric)

Experience: 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience working in a tailings or mining environment is essential.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Physically fit and able to carry out manual labor and operate in tough environments.

Demonstrated emotional intelligence and ability to function effectively in team settings.
