Role Overview
We’re looking for highly skilled and analytical Planners to fill a variety of future roles within our Westville-based Supply Chain team. These include Demand Planners, Location Planners, Inbound Planners, and Outbound Planners. The planning roles are crucial to ensuring stock is ordered, delivered, managed, and distributed efficiently across all Boxer Superstores nationwide.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
-
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
Experience:
-
2–5 years in a planning, logistics, or supply chain role—preferably in the FMCG or retail sector.

Proven experience in forecasting, demand planning, or inventory control.
Technical Skills:
-
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
-
Familiarity with ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and relevant planning software.

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills:
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and collaborate across departments.

Thrive in high-pressure environments while maintaining accuracy.

A proactive, results-driven, and solution-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities (Role Dependent)
Demand Planner
-
Create and manage demand forecasts across product categories
-
Analyse sales trends and market indicators
-
Work closely with Buying, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to improve forecast accuracy
Location Planner
-
Optimize inventory levels across stores and DCs
-
Coordinate store replenishments and supplier delivery cycles
-
Ensure balanced stock flow and minimize stockouts
Outbound Planner
-
Coordinate the outbound flow of goods from the DC to stores
-
Ensure stores receive accurate stock levels, especially during promotions

Liaise with transport teams and monitor fulfilment metrics
Inbound Planner

Plan and schedule deliveries from suppliers

Ensure timely booking and offloading

Manage returns and communicate effectively with suppliers
