Role Overview

Senwes Equipment is currently recruiting for a Mechanisation Clerk to join its team in Klerksdorp. This role is responsible for providing centralised administrative and financial support to all equipment branches, ensuring documentation accuracy, strong financial controls, and seamless system operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in enabling efficient coordination between branches and the head office.


Key Responsibilities

  • Credit Note Management:
    Process and validate credit notes received from platforms such as John Deere, Falcon, RovicLeers, and Construction & Forestry.

  • Reconciliations & Financial Control:
    Perform reconciliation of claims, inspection controls, and cash accounts, ensuring accurate financial records across branches.

  • Cash Flow Oversight:
    Identify, correct, and maintain accurate cash account entries throughout the branch network.

  • Commission Tracking:
    Compile and verify commission reports for technical personnel and management teams.

  • System Support:
    Support EQUIP system users, ensuring data accuracy, troubleshooting, and updates.

  • Accounts & Invoicing:
    Manage ACS client accounts, process tax invoices, and monitor payment tracking.

  • Vendor & Procurement Admin:
    Raise and monitor Purchase Orders (POs), track vendor payments, and handle related queries and admin.

  • Cross-Department Support:
    Provide administrative and procurement assistance to departments such as HR and SHEQ.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Qualification:

    • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)

  • Experience:

    • 3 to 5 years of administrative experience, preferably in a technical or workshop environment


Skills and Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Sound administrative and organisational capabilities

  • Understanding of workshop operations and technical documentation

  • Familiarity with SAP and EQUIP systems

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach
