Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator
As a Payroll Administrator at Fidelity Services Group, your core responsibilities will include:

Payroll Processing: Ensuring that payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time for all employees. This includes managing payroll applications, terminations, transfers, amendments, and approved pay rate changes.

Payroll Queries & Support: Addressing and resolving any payroll-related queries from employees. You will provide timely feedback and ensure that employees receive clear, professional communication regarding their pay.

Payment Processing: Managing the full and final settlements for employees, processing rejected payments, and handling payroll queries efficiently. You will also prepare cheque requisitions and ensure that all necessary approvals are obtained.

Compliance Audits: Conducting regular payroll audits to ensure that all payroll processes are compliant with internal policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.

Employee Benefits Management: Handling applications related to provident funds, medical aid, and funeral schemes, ensuring that employees are enrolled correctly and that their benefits are processed accurately.

Leave and COIDA Processing: Managing leave encashments, COIDA payments, and resolving any payroll-related leave queries that arise.

Reporting & Documentation: Ensuring all necessary payroll records are maintained and updated. You will assist with producing reports and other documentation as required by management.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for the Payroll Administrator position, you must meet the following criteria:

Grade 12/Matric: A minimum of a Grade 12 qualification is required.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar payroll processing role, preferably in a finance or human resources environment.

Attention to Detail: A strong focus on accuracy and detail when processing payroll information is essential.

Software Proficiency: Experience with payroll software, preferably SAP, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) are required to perform the job effectively.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical in order to interact professionally with employees and resolve any payroll-related concerns.

Compliance Knowledge: A solid understanding of payroll regulations and compliance standards is a plus.

Self-Motivated & Organized: The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Transport: Candidates must reside in the West Rand area and have reliable transport to commute to the Helderkruin office.
