Job Description
As a Checkout Assistant (Till Packer), your role is to ensure that products are packed properly and safely for customers. You will be responsible for packing all items purchased by customers at a grocery shop, ensuring that everything is safely packed and not a danger to the consumer. Your primary focus will be on customer satisfaction, assisting them with their purchases, and maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack items: Ensure all items purchased by customers are packed correctly and safely in bags or neatly arranged in a trolley for comfortable transport.
- Customer service: Listen to customer requests, provide the required product or service, and advise customers on products.
- Maintain hygiene and safety: Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment, meeting all housekeeping and safety standards.
- Customer interaction: Handle all customer interactions in a courteous, business-like manner, creating a positive shopping experience.
