We are seeking a Warehouse Dispatch Controller to join our LLS Warehouse in Centurion. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to play a vital role in managing warehouse operations and ensuring smooth and timely dispatches.
Objective
The Warehouse Dispatch Controller will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving processes in the warehouse. The role includes managing the accuracy of items received, processed, and shipped, maintaining proper documentation, working with vendors, and tracking orders.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Satisfaction & Dispatch Management
- Ensure accurate and timely shipping of orders, optimizing customer satisfaction.
- Receive orders, verify the quantity and quality against order documents (carriers, suppliers, customers), and report any anomalies.
- Distribute orders according to the flow setup of the LLS (DFC, bulk reserves, and cross-docking).
- Ensure orders are stored in designated locations for delivery to internal and external customers.
- Prepare orders for customers and ensure the organization and cleanliness of the area under responsibility.
Team Collaboration & Support
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, contribute to team spirit, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Use available resources for skill development and make yourself available to help train new logistics employees.
- Report information and anomalies to Admin Clerks/DM and the Head of Department (HOD).
Resource Optimization & Safety
- Adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the proper handling of equipment and tools.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions.
- Monitor for stock loss or shrinkage and report any discrepancies.
- Adjust work schedule based on product flows and customer needs.
Job Requirements

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
- 2-10 years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain.
- Strong background in warehouse operations and dispatching.

Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WHMS) and basic computer skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy items.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
