Security Systems Technician

We are seeking an organized, self-motivated Install technician to provide general support to our customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide security system installation and support services
• Perform Service and Installation of Gate and Garage Motors, Access Control, Alarm, CCTV & Intercom systems.
• Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot and perform repairs as necessary on security systems.
• Perform upgrades and additions to systems in order to increase functionality utilization.
• Perform computer program entry as required to add CCTV cameras, access control and intrusion alarm systems as needed.
• Direct field technicians in installation of cabling and device set up and wiring.
• Deliver effective commissioning of security systems to satisfy all quality requirements and aid in support of hand-over to the customer

Desired Skills and Experience
• Experience in installing, programming, training in Electronic Security Systems. I.E. Access Control, Alarm, CCTV and Intercom systems.
• Willingness and ability to work flexibly and diligently as befits an important role within a fast growing division.
• Ability to work with power tools, welding machine, testing machines and ladders.
• Ability to complete tasks according to schedule and communicate with supervisors.
• Strong communication, customer service skills and neat personal appearance.
• High level of self-motivation and an ability to work with a high level of initiative.
• Strong team player who can communicate effectively.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and work effectively in high pressure situations
