Job Purpose
The Regional Marketer will represent AFGRI Equipment by marketing and selling construction and forestry equipment. This involves visiting mines, rental and construction companies, understanding their needs, introducing relevant products, and ensuring follow-through on all sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the marketing function for John Deere Construction and Forestry Equipment
- Handle procurement and stock control
- Conduct product presentations and follow up on sales opportunities
- Provide excellent client service and manage relationships with existing customers
- Administer sales-related tasks, including reporting and documentation
Requirements
Education/Training
- Grade 12
- Relevant Sales or Marketing qualification
- Valid driver’s license
Experience
- Minimum 3 years business, sales, and marketing experience
- Proven sales results in top 5 OEM
- Experience in marketing construction and forestry equipment
Technical Knowledge/Competencies
- Strong understanding of the construction and forestry equipment industry
- Knowledge of John Deere Construction and Forestry Equipment
- Ability to conclude successful business transactions
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
Behavioral Competencies
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work under extreme environmental conditions
- Strong customer orientation and negotiating skills
- Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities
