
Job Title: End Controller (External Applications Only)

Job Description:
The End Controller is responsible for ensuring that all relevant documentation for transactions is checked and recorded when stock or fixed assets leave the store, or when customers return stock. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure, ensuring compliance with security and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Security:
- Ensure that no goods leave the store without the relevant documentation.
- Verify that the documentation is complete, with the correct date, time, sequence, and signature.
- Record customer returns correctly in the End Controller book and obtain authorization.
- Maintain security by ensuring exit/entry doors and loading/unloading shutter doors are closed when not in use.
- Report suspicious behavior or vehicles to management.
- Conduct random searches on employees when they leave the store.
- Ensure backup employees are available for your area of responsibility during shift changes, breaks, and lunch.
Customer Service:
- Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service to customers when checking in and out of goods.
- Direct customers to the appropriate person if they require further assistance.

Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 with at least 1 year of work-related experience, or 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong numeric skills and attention to detail.
- Must be literate and able to communicate in English and the dominant local language.
- Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to work under pressure.
