General Objective:
As a Brand Ambassador at Versuni, your primary role will be to represent the Philips brand within designated retail stores in Germiston, Gauteng. Your responsibilities will include promoting product awareness, driving sales, and fostering positive relationships with both retailers and consumers. By engaging with customers and utilizing your expertise, you will enhance the visibility and availability of Philips Domestic Appliances products, aligning with Versuni’s mission of turning houses into homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Placement:
- Represent Philips products in stores based on the Philips Retail Store Base, ensuring optimal visibility and coverage.
- Policy Adherence:
- Follow the store’s policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Weekly Meetings:
- Meet weekly with the Regional Field Manager to discuss reports, concerns, feedback, and directives, and to hand over POSM and demo materials.
- Weekend Activations:
- Lead mandatory weekend activations, engaging with customers to promote Philips products effectively.
- Execution Excellence:
- Ensure Philips products maintain the #1 position in-store for all executions, securing optimal visibility and prominence.
- Price Ticket Maintenance:
- Maintain accurate price tickets in-store, reflecting the correct pricing and promotional information.
- Merchandising Execution:
- Execute in-store merchandising according to Philips and Retailers’ directives, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Relationship Building:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with retailers and their staff to ensure effective collaboration and support for Philips products.
- Professionalism:
- Adhere to the dress code provided by Philips, ensuring a professional and polished image at all times.
- Demonstrations and Engagement:
- Conduct WET/DRY product demonstrations aligned with key SKUs and product focus, showcasing features and benefits to customers.
- Hygiene and Maintenance:
- Ensure demo products and materials are clean and well-maintained for all demonstrations.
- Event Support:
- Provide support during store-related events or promotional activities, contributing to the success of Philips’ initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional sales or marketing training preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or brand promotion preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation abilities, with a focus on product features and benefits.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to execution excellence.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
