Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Field Manager I to join our team in the Southern Suburbs (Cape). In this managerial role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, executing business strategies, and leading a team to achieve sales and promotional targets while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence:
- Proactively manage and improve operational processes to ensure efficiency and excellence.
- Business Insights and Execution:
- Gather and analyze business data to inform execution strategies.
- Teamwork and Self-Management:
- Lead by example, fostering teamwork and demonstrating strong self-management skills.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.
- People Management:
- Oversee and manage a team to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Promotional Activity Management:
- Coordinate and manage promotional activities to drive business growth.
- Achieve POP Objectives:
- Ensure that all Point-of-Purchase (POP) objectives are met effectively.
- Monitor New Innovations:
- Keep track of industry trends and innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
- Target Achievement:
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Expense Control:
- Manage and control operational expenses to maintain budgetary efficiency.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- 2-3 years of sales experience in an FMCG environment, with managerial or supervisory experience at this level.
- Education:
- Relevant Diploma at NQF Level 5.
- Licenses:
- Valid Code 8 Driver’s license.
- Skills:
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in computer literacy.
- Solid business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Attention to detail and pro-active thinking.
- Leadership and planning skills.
- Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and sales management skills.
