Position Overview
Twizza, a rapidly growing and innovative beverage company, is seeking a Handyman to join its Queenstown facility. This role requires an individual who is skilled in maintenance tasks and can efficiently ensure the operational functionality of the factory. The successful candidate will work in the Queenstown manufacturing plant, assisting with general upkeep and repair tasks, ensuring that equipment and infrastructure are in optimal condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Tasks:
Perform basic greasing, maintenance, and overhauling of components in the factory machinery. - Repairs & Upkeep:
Attend to any breakdowns quickly and effectively. Repair plumbing, buildings, and any other infrastructure within the factory. - Workshop Housekeeping:
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the workshop area. - General Handyman Duties:
Paint and scrape surfaces, perform basic repairs, and carry out any other reasonable instructions as required by the operation. - Adherence to Policies:
Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safety in the workplace.
Minimum Requirements
- Education:
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a workshop or a similar maintenance role.
- Skills:
- Basic technical skills and hands-on experience in plumbing and painting.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A proactive and participative team member with a hands-on approach to work.
