Role Purpose:
The Cook will be responsible for preparing food for daily kitchen production, ensuring high-quality food service, and supporting the kitchen team with various duties in a hospital environment.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Cook in a contract catering environment (essential).
- Food and Beverage or Culinary Arts qualification (essential).
- Matric (essential).
- Ability to perform batch cooking in a hospital environment (essential).
- Experience in a hospital environment (advantageous).
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the efficient running of the kitchen by producing and presenting food of the highest quality.
- Support the kitchen team with general kitchen duties and responsibilities.
