Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks, snacks, or food to customers either directly or through waitstaff. This position requires attention to cleanliness, exceptional service, and a professional attitude to create a positive experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service:
   • Greet customers and thank guests, engaging in a friendly, proactive manner.
   • Present menus, answer questions about options, and promote daily specials.
   • Serve orders quickly and accurately, ensuring guest satisfaction.
2. Bar Management:
   • Maintain a neat and tidy bar area before, during, and after service.
   • Replenish stock items like water, ice, napkins, and condiments.
   • Prepare stock requisitions for restocking based on demand.
3. Order Handling:
   • Take and record orders, entering them accurately into the POS system.
   • Check customer ID if needed to verify legal drinking age.
4. Payment & Reconciliation:
   • Process payments accurately, either cash or credit card.
   • Reconcile all sales and payments at the end of each shift.
   • Document and disclose any breakages or wastage.
5. Ad Hoc Duties:
   • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support smooth operations.
   • Maintain cleanliness and organization for the next shift.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: Background in the service industry is preferred.
• Bonus Skills: Experience with POS systems and stock management is advantageous.

• Accountability: Reliable and trustworthy, with strong attention to detail.
