Hollywoodbets, a leader in the gambling and casino industry, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join its team in George, Western Cape. If you have a keen eye for detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about maintaining a clean and welcoming space, this role is for you.

Role Overview

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for upholding cleanliness, comfort, and hygiene across Hollywoodbets’ premises, ensuring a tidy and organized environment for staff and visitors. This position involves regular maintenance tasks, checking facilities, and managing cleanliness across various areas within the building.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Responsibilities:
   • Check and replace burnt-out light bulbs across the building.
   • Deliver milk to tea kitchens each morning.
   • Ensure air conditioning units on all floors are functioning, with particular focus on the first floor.
   • Sweep fire escapes and clean ashtrays on all floors.
2. Weekly and Bi-Weekly Tasks:
   • Spray parking areas with ant killer every second Monday.
   • Wash company vehicles on Mondays and Fridays.
   • Clean the vending machine every Wednesday.
   • Collect recycling paper from departments and store it in the recycling area every Tuesday and Thursday.
   • Clean carports every Wednesday.
   • Weed the front yard and generator area every second Monday.
   • Lubricate all metal door hinges every second Thursday.
   • Clean all air vents and fixtures on the first and second floors weekly.
3. Monthly Tasks:
   • Clean the OPS fridge on the first of each month.
   • Wipe and check fire extinguishers and hoses every Thursday.
   • Monitor the generator on Mondays and Fridays.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: Housekeeping experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Time Management: Ability to complete tasks in a timely and organized manner.
• Initiative: Capable of identifying areas that need attention and addressing them proactively.
