Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Verification: Ensure that all orders have been thoroughly checked for accuracy before they are shipped.
  • Shipment Accuracy: Verify that each shipment matches the order specifications and all documents, including the log sheet, are accurately completed.
  • Secure Storage: Confirm that checked cages are securely locked to maintain order integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining organized inventory records and report any discrepancies immediately to the manager.
  • Supervisory Support: Step in as a stand-in for the shift supervisor as needed, helping to oversee and guide warehouse operations.
  • Incident Reporting: Promptly report any suspicious activity or incidents in the warehouse to management to uphold security protocols.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the warehouse remains clean, orderly, and free from hazards, supporting a safe work environment.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an FMCG warehouse environment, specifically in a warehouse checker role.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and efficiency.
