Job Description
As an Area Manager at HP, your primary responsibility is to ensure optimal presentation and availability of HP Brand Products in retail stores. This includes managing the execution, display space, in-stock levels, returns, price ticketing, and point-of-sale (POS) materials for HP PCs, Printers, and Accessories in assigned retail locations.
You will also be tasked with executing promotional activities, conducting competitor audits, building relationships with stores, and driving sales growth through sell-out initiatives and in-store activations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Oversee HP products (PCs, Printers, Accessories) in assigned retail stores.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure execution, display space, correct pricing, and adherence to planograms. Maintain stock levels, price tickets, and POS materials.
- Promotional Activations: Execute tasks such as setting up promotional materials during campaigns and providing product demos on weekends.
- Reporting & Communication: Submit reports and updates using the Smollan REX app. Communicate effectively with the management team.
- Campaign Management: Support the roll-out of POS materials for promotions and manage weekend activations and audits.
- Competitor Audits: Perform market audits and gather consumer feedback to inform HP’s strategies.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain profitable relationships with the store base to enhance collaboration and boost sales.
- Asset Management: Track and manage assets, ensuring they are effectively utilized.
- Sell-Out Initiatives: Implement in-store initiatives to drive sales growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in merchandising, retail sales, or related fields preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency with smart devices for reporting and communication.
