Fidelity Services Group is seeking Junior Firefighters to respond to fire-related incidents and emergencies in the public safety sector. Join a team dedicated to protecting lives and property by providing firefighting, emergency rescue services, and fire prevention training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Emergency Response: Respond to fires, rescues, and hazardous materials incidents.
• Firefighting Operations: Operate equipment to extinguish fires and provide emergency medical care under supervision.
• Fire Prevention: Conduct fire prevention activities and safety inspections to safeguard clients’ properties.
• Equipment Maintenance: Check, clean, and maintain firefighting vehicles and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Training Participation: Engage in drills, simulations, and physical fitness training to remain prepared for emergencies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum Education: Grade 12
• Certifications: IFSAC Accredited, NFPA 1001 Firefighter 2 Certification, Firefighter II Certification
• Experience: At least 2 years of firefighting experience
• Driver’s License: Valid, unendorsed driver’s license (advanced driving advantageous)
• Medical Fitness: Must be physically fit for firefighting duties
• First Aid: Levels 1-3 certification
• Hazmat Experience: Knowledge of hazardous materials and EMT certification is advantageous
• Fire Systems Knowledge: Understanding fire classes and chemistry, along with firefighting systems.

• Emergency Preparedness: Quick reaction to emergency situations with efficient time management.
• Fire Prevention Knowledge: Sound understanding of fire prevention procedures and firefighting systems.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer Liaison: Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
