Position Overview:
Are you passionate about helping customers find the perfect solution for their tiling and flooring needs? We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team in Greenstone. In this role, you will consult with customers to understand their specific requirements and propose the best products and services to meet their needs, ensuring an exceptional buying experience. Your ability to provide excellent service, build relationships, and meet sales targets will contribute to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply a structured sales process to build customer relationships and achieve sales targets.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Engage with customers to understand their specific tiling and flooring needs and offer personalized solutions.
- Recommend the right products and services based on quality, convenience, and price.
- Identify new business opportunities by staying informed about market trends and customer preferences.
- Follow up on sales leads to close deals.
- Collaborate with the Department Manager and merchandisers on stocking products that meet customer demands.
- Maintain a well-organized, clean, and visually appealing store layout.
- Participate in the department’s commercial action plan, contributing ideas and insights for improved performance.
- Assist customers throughout the entire project, from pre-sales consultation to post-sales support, including delivery and installation services.
- Ensure the store is fully stocked and products are available for customers.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Sales Consultant, with hardware or home improvement experience being an advantage.
- Strong passion for customer service with a friendly, confident, and engaging personality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to offer personalized solutions.
- Understanding of pricing strategies and methodologies.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to take initiative, work autonomously, and manage a customer portfolio through the full sales cycle.
- Experience using various communication channels (email, WhatsApp, phone) to engage customers and drive sales.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
