Job Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Creditors Clerk Assistant to verify and capture data, perform reconciliations, and assist with general finance duties. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and a proactive attitude in managing workloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy of data from designated sources before entering it into the system.
- Identify and correct visible data errors by confirming information with supervisors.
- Capture data into financial systems with double-checking to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with general finance tasks such as filing and reconciliations.
Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data capture.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
- Capable of managing changing priorities and maintaining confidentiality.
Personal Attributes:
- Detailed and accurate.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to follow instructions and deliver quality work.
- Punctual, professional, with strong work ethics.
