Job Overview:

Adendorff Machinery Mart is seeking a Fleet Controller to join its dynamic team at the Aeroton Branch in Gauteng. This role involves overseeing the management and performance of the company’s vehicle fleet, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Fleet Maintenance: Oversee schedules for maintenance, repairs, and vehicle inspections.
• Fuel and Route Optimization: Monitor fuel consumption and optimize routes to reduce costs.
• Compliance: Ensure all vehicles meet regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Fleet Management: Handle vehicle acquisitions, disposals, and upgrades.
• Data Analysis: Analyze fleet performance and generate reports to guide strategic decisions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with drivers, maintenance teams, and external partners to resolve issues.
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement improvements in fleet management processes.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years in fleet management.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with fleet management software.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
