Job Purpose:

The Service Advisor will deliver comprehensive support services to customers throughout the entire vehicle service process, ensuring effective communication, timely feedback, and diligent follow-ups while adhering to all administrative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to legal compliance including FICA regulation, POPI Act, and Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
  • Maintain accurate administration of invoices, refunds, payments, and other relevant documentation to uphold high standards.

2. Customer Relations:

  • Foster a customer-centric culture by delivering services that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Maintain a customer database, providing ongoing communication regarding service details, feedback, and addressing any concerns.

3. Operational Efficiency:

  • Execute work activities effectively to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
  • Identify and implement known solutions to operational challenges, escalating unresolved issues when necessary.

4. Vehicle Service Management:

  • Greet customers upon vehicle arrival for service, identify concerns, and relay information to technicians.
  • Monitor service turnaround times and quality standards to ensure compliance with company objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.

5. Continuous Learning:

  • Attend training initiatives to improve work quality and personal skills.
  • Embody and promote the company’s core values.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum Qualification: Higher Certificates and/or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificates with NQF Level 04.
  • Experience: 2-3 years in a similar service advisor role within the automotive industry.

Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in relevant software applications.
  • Knowledge of Industry Regulations: Familiarity with industry legislative compliance and OEM standards.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders.
