The candidate must have an aptitude for organising and processing
information through a structured system, be able to communicate well with
others , be fluent in both English and Afrikaans be able to conduct him/herself
professionally and calmly, in order to handle difficult and stressful
situations, be able to use initiative skilled in solving problems . Be team orientated,
must be naturally skilled in planning, scheduling and self-managing his/her daily tasks. Relevant experience in
manufacturing and a code B drivers license will be to your advantage.

Skills and Qualifications
• Organizational skills – Strong organizational skills will help the
procurement team keep track of orders and keep accurate records
• Time
management – procurement administrators need to prioritize tasks to ensure
that deadlines are met and orders come in when expected
• Teamwork –
procurement administrators works closely with the team, suppliers and other
departments and must have a professional and helpful demeanor
• Computer knowledge – Basic computer skills are important, to
process orders, respond to mails and update records
• Attention to detail- being meticulous and thorough will
reduce timely and costly mistakes in the procurement and production process
• Qualification
– The candidate must have at least a
National Senior Certificate or Management Assistant Diploma. Relevant
experience in data capturing and processing in the manufacturing field is
required

Candidate Duties

1 Prepare quote requests

Request quotes from suppliers list

Compile sales quotes

Generate purchase orders

Resolve problems in orders and invoicing

Generate bill of materials

Generate and close production orders

Generate delivery notes

Generate invoices

General administration and filling
