Job Description:

Purpose:
To deliver excellent customer service by accurately processing transactions at the Point of Sale (POS).

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional customer service by processing orders efficiently in line with SOP.
2. Maintain service speed to enhance customer satisfaction.
3. Accurately process different payment types in line with SOP.
4. Educate customers on promotions and actively drive sales.
5. Increase ticket averages through upselling and suggestive selling techniques.
6. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of the counter service areas according to SOP.
7. Ensure front-of-house (FOH) stock levels are maintained in line with SOP.

Requirements:

1. National Senior Certificate (preferred).
2. Senior Certificate (required).
3. Strong literacy skills.
4. Strong numeracy skills.
5. One year of experience as a retail cashier (QSR environment preferred).
