Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee overall operations of the restaurant/take-away.
  • Ensure food quality standards and PEDROS Standard Operating Procedures are maintained.
  • Manage stock control, purchasing, and ordering.
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure high customer service levels.
  • Maximize profitability by meeting sales and gross profit (GP%) targets, while motivating staff.
  • Manage staff, including disciplinary actions and scheduling work rosters.
  • Collaborate with the team to drive the restaurant forward.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee daily opening and closing procedures at the store.
  • Implement marketing activities, promotions, and incentive programs at the store.
  • Manage customer relations, addressing complaints within required timeframes.
  • People management, including staff training and development, and conducting structured staff meetings.
  • Oversee recruitment, selection, training, and monitoring of staff to boost productivity and profitability.
  • Conduct performance evaluations of staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the restaurant or fast-food service industry.
  • Experience and knowledge of GAAP systems (Advantageous).
  • Strong management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication abilities.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
