Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Kruger National Park
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, based at Skukuza in the Kruger National Park (KNP). The successful candidate will report to the Chief Pilot for South African National Parks (SANParks) and will work across various SANParks locations.

Requirements:
- Valid SACAA AME TYPE License.
- Driver’s License Code 08.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a qualified SACAA AME.
- At least 2 years of SACAA logged experience with AS350 type as an AME.
- Experience with aircraft tracking.
- Dangerous Goods Group E certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict compliance with approved maintenance procedures, carrying out tasks efficiently and within specified timelines to uphold aircraft airworthiness.
- Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues, making sound and timely decisions to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct inspections, assess maintenance needs, and troubleshoot aircraft systems to maintain the integrity and safety of the aircraft.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring proper resource allocation and minimizing aircraft downtime.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve maintenance goals.
- Communicate technical information to aircrew members and maintenance teams, ensuring clear coordination.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records in line with regulatory requirements.
- Promote and adhere to a strong safety culture within all maintenance operations.
- Identify and assess risks in maintenance operations and assist senior personnel in implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on industry advancements through continuous professional development.
Salary Range:
R328,559.78 – R506,311.22 per annum.

C5
