Key Performance Areas:

• Assist with general duties such as cleaning floors and maintaining company assets within the Packaging Department.
• Follow reasonable instructions from supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.
• Report breakages or waste to the Production Controller.
• Suggest improvements to management that can save time or resources.
• Assist in quality matters to maintain product standards.
• Support team productivity by participating in Mini Business Activities (MBA) to enhance team performance.
• Assist with stock-taking when required.
• Ensure adherence to company health and safety regulations.
• Participate in loss and waste reduction initiatives within the department.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Education:
  • Grade 12 or relevant qualifications.
• Experience:
  • 1-2 years’ experience as a General Worker in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Packaging or similar environments is advantageous.
• Skills:
  • Physically capable of performing strenuous duties as required.
  • Ability to take initiative without being prompted.
  • Strong teamwork and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including night shifts, extended overtime, and weekends if requested.
  • Knowledge of safe working procedures.
  • Ability to uphold company values and maintain good governance.
