Key Performance Areas:

• Assist with general duties, including cleaning floors and maintaining company assets in the Packaging Department.
• Flexibility to adapt to operational demands and carry out all tasks required for operational efficiency.
• Report any breakages or waste to the Production Controller.
• Suggest improvements to management for saving time or resources.
• Assist with quality matters to ensure product standards.
• Contribute to the team’s productivity and participate in Mini Business Activities (MBA) for optimal performance.
• Assist with stock-taking as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and participate in loss and waste reduction efforts in the department.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Education:
  • Grade 12 or relevant qualifications.
• Experience:
  • 1-2 years’ experience as a General Worker in a manufacturing environment.
  • Product knowledge, particularly within Packaging or similar environments, is advantageous.
  • Physically healthy and capable of performing strenuous duties when necessary.
• Skills:
  • Ability to take initiative without prompting.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including night shifts, extended overtime, and weekends if required.
  • Knowledge of safe working procedures and good corporate governance.
