Key Performance Areas:

• Assist with general duties in the Packaging Department, including cleaning floors and maintaining company assets.
• Flexibility to adapt to operational requirements and perform all reasonable tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
• Report breakages or waste to the Production Controller.
• Suggest improvements that could save the company time or money.
• Assist with quality matters and contribute to the team’s maximum productivity.
• Participate in Mini Business Activities (MBA) to ensure optimal teamwork and performance.
• Assist in stock-taking when needed.
• Adhere to company health and safety regulations.
• Participate in loss and waste reduction exercises within the department.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Education:
  • Grade 12 or relevant qualification.
• Experience:
  • 1-2 years’ experience as a General Worker in a manufacturing environment.
  • Product knowledge and experience in Packaging or similar environments are advantageous.
  • Physically healthy and able to perform strenuous duties as needed.
• Skills:
  • Ability to take spontaneous action without prompting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including night shifts, extended overtime, and weekends when requested.
  • Knowledge of safe working procedures.
