Key Performance Areas:
- General Duties:
- Assist with tasks in the Cellar Department, including cleaning floors, tanks, and machinery.
- Take care of company assets and follow reasonable instructions from supervisors.
- Ensure operational efficiency by completing tasks as required.
- Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Perform general cleaning activities in and around the Cellar.
- Wash tanks and clean machinery, including the Reverse Osmosis plant.
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
- Teamwork & Administration:
- Participate in Mini Business Activities (MBA) to ensure teamwork and optimal performance.
- Assist with cellar-related administration duties and stock-taking when necessary.
- Safety & Housekeeping:
- Adhere to safety procedures and good housekeeping practices.
- Operational Flexibility:
- Work shifts and extended hours as needed to meet operational demands.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Education:
- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric).
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in an FMCG, cellar, or processing environment.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of safe working procedures and quality administration systems.
- Ability to adapt to and react to challenging situations.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and suggest improvements to management.
- Other Requirements:
- Energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work extended hours when required.
- Reliable transport to and from work.
