Key Performance Areas:

• Repair & Maintenance:
  • Strip, assemble, and repair parts or components.
  • Start, stop, and operate air compressors.
  • Lubricate machines and equipment.
• Ad Hoc Duties:
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by the Engineering Specialist.
• Administration:
  • Complete relevant documentation, such as inspection sheets and job cards.
• Safety & Housekeeping:
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain general housekeeping standards.
• Team Participation:
  • Actively engage in all Mini Business activities.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Education:
  • Grade 12 (Matric).
• Experience:
  • 1 year in an FMCG production environment.
  • Relevant experience in an engineering workshop or maintenance environment.
  • Experience with workshop equipment (drill press, angle grinder, bench grinder, etc.).
  • Lubrication experience in a production environment is essential.
• Skills:
  • Basic administrative skills to complete forms.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
  • Ability to work independently and manage physical demands.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work extended hours and shifts when required.
  • Reliable transport to and from work.
