Role Overview:

This role involves supporting the Maintenance Team by providing effective equipment maintenance assistance. The goal is to ensure equipment reliability while following set procedures to maintain the stability and sustainability of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete job-specific tasks and checklists accurately.
• Conduct visual inspections of the work environment to ensure adherence to safety standards, reporting unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Codes of Practice (COPs) to maintain housekeeping standards.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to achieve collective goals.
• Be mindful of cost-saving initiatives and report all task activities.
• Assist artisans with day-to-day tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Qualifications:
  • Grade 12/N3 Qualification
  • Maths & Science (Advantage)
  • Valid Driver’s License (Advantage)
• Experience:
  • 12 months of plant experience with conveyors (Advantage)
  • Knowledge of the mining industry (Advantage)

• Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of conveyors (Advantage)
  • Ability to interpret written instructions and work instructions
• Leadership Competency:
  • Self-Mastery: Take accountability for personal growth by developing self-awareness, seeking feedback, and self-correcting where needed.
