Job Description:
The Parts Sales Consultant will be responsible for maintaining and increasing sales volumes while adhering to budgeted margins. Key duties include:
- Maximizing sales volume at the correct discount and budgeted margin.
- Identifying new customers in the allocated area and managing customer data.
- Regularly calling on existing customers as required by STM (Sales Territory Management).
- Managing customer accounts and providing them with business management data to improve spending.
- Keeping continuous records of customer contact details and scheduling regular follow-ups.
- Ensuring the distribution of MAN parts through all trade sectors and customer bases.
- Assisting with stock counts, handling stand-by duties, and covering for Parts Counter Salesman as needed.
- Resolving customer queries and escalating issues to the Parts Manager where necessary.
- Promoting and selling MAN parts, products, and campaigns to improve customer spend.
- Maintaining and updating the STM system regularly.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Matric Certificate

- Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain excellent customer relations.
- Pro-active, highly motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Customer-focused with a results-driven approach.

- Code EB driver’s license.
Experience:
- 3 years of experience in commercial part sales with the ability to meet sales and margin targets (Essential).
