Job Description:

The Apprentice Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for supporting qualified Diesel Mechanics and gaining hands-on experience in the field. Key responsibilities include:

• Utilizing all opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the diesel mechanic trade.
• Performing service and repair tasks under the supervision of a qualified Diesel Mechanic.
• Working closely with experienced Diesel Mechanics as an understudy.
• Ensuring timely and satisfactory completion of examinations and course tests.
• Attending technical college courses or other training programs as required.
• Assisting qualified Diesel Mechanics with their duties when needed.
• Adhering to workshop safety, security, and quality procedures.

Qualifications:

• N1 or higher, with required subjects: Mathematics, Engineering Science, and Diesel Trade Theory.

Skills:

• Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal relations skills.
• Customer-focused with a results-driven mindset.
• Pro-active, highly motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain positive customer relations.
• Computer literacy.
• Fluent in English with proven intercultural business competencies.
