Job Description:
The Parts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Parts Department, ensuring profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving the budgeted turnover, profit margins, and Customer Satisfaction Measurement (CSM) targets.
- Controlling the overall budget, including personnel and overhead costs.
- Managing staff within the Parts Department.
- Managing inventory to ensure optimum economic levels.
- Overseeing stock-taking administration.
- Meeting operational objectives, policies, and standards as per the dealer standards program.
- Ensuring continuous growth in new customers and retention of existing ones.
- Conducting regular customer on-site visits.
Qualifications:
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12).
Skills:
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent customer relations.
- Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with a results-driven approach.
- Pro-active, highly motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience leading and motivating a team.
- 5 years of experience in a Parts Department within the automotive parts business.
