Description:

Launch your career with an exciting internship in business administration, project management, and financial reporting. This opportunity is perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, budgeting, and corporate governance.

As an intern, you will:

  • Execute entry-level tasks to support the unit’s daily operations.
  • Handle correspondence, maintain accurate files, and manage data.
  • Assist in coordinating the unit’s budgeting process, providing administrative support.
  • Contribute to data gathering for audits and prepare monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Support senior staff in financial reporting, administrative tasks, and project planning.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and assist in creating presentations.
  • Participate in a rotational program, allowing exposure to multiple departments.

This internship offers valuable experience in:

  • Financial analysis and data entry for corporate reporting.
  • Project management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • A strong foundation in regulatory compliance with laws such as the PFMA, Skills Development Act, BBBEE, and tax laws.
  • Hands-on experience with the SETA landscape, equipping you with critical industry knowledge.

Core Competencies to Develop:

  • Understanding CETA’s role in the corporate and public sector, with exposure to the broader SETA network.
  • Practical skills in data management, office administration, and project coordination.
  • Knowledge of key regulatory frameworks such as the Employment Equity Act and Affirmative Action policies.

Entry Requirements:

  • South African citizen under 35 years of age with a valid South African ID.
  • Relevant post-matric qualification from a recognized institution.
  • No prior SETA internship experience and no previous employment.
  • Submit a detailed CV and a motivation letter for consideration.
  • Certified copies of your ID and academic qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ND in Business Management or Project Management.
  • ND/BTech/Degree in Office Administration, Accounting, Public Administration, or Business Administration.
  • ND in Management Assistant or equivalent qualifications.
