At RCL FOODS, we do things differently. Our ambition is to Grow What Matters, and we are looking for a NAM Assistant to join our dynamic Customer Team in Westville. This role supports the National Account Manager (NAM) in managing a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring that all customer and business needs are met.

This role is ideal for a driven individual with an FMCG background, strong skills in account management and data analytics, and a passion for customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support to the National Account Manager across core job functions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Handle pricing management by capturing and maintaining price trackers and addressing day-to-day pricing queries.
  • Manage claims processing, investigate invalid claims, and resolve queries.
  • Run pre and post promo ROI analyses, track compliance, and maintain promotional grids.
  • Oversee budget management, update systems, and maintain budget trackers.
  • Conduct sales performance tracking, maintain innovation trackers, and compile customer reviews.
  • Leverage data analytics platforms to generate insights that support decision-making.
  • Drive operational excellence by working closely with the Vector and Ops teams to optimize trade initiatives and the perfect store concept.
  • Assist in business planning processes by supporting the NAM with demand forecasting, sales tracking, and promo performance analysis.
  • Ensure commercial excellence by interpreting and analyzing financial KPIs for profitability assessments.
  • Complete general administrative tasks including expense claims, credit card reconciliations, and travel bookings.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing or Business.
  • Valid code EB driver’s license.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or administration, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical skills with an affinity for working with numbers and data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing market dynamics.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management and time management skills, with the ability to self-manage.
