At RCL FOODS, we do things differently because we believe in growing what matters. We are currently recruiting a Process Leader (CCD) to join our Speciality Business Unit in Centurion. This key role focuses on managing the performance of production departments, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and quality in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning: Communicate and execute production plans, ensuring that resources (staff, machinery, materials) are optimized to meet daily targets.
• Operations Management: Oversee the performance of production lines, manage deviations from the plan, and ensure that deadlines are met efficiently. Troubleshoot issues with machinery, raw materials, and staff allocation.
• Safety and Quality Compliance: Ensure adherence to HACCP, ISO, and OHSACT standards. Monitor hygiene, safety protocols, and risk compliance to maintain top-tier production environments.
• Cost Control: Implement strategies to minimize waste, reduce costs, and ensure the optimal use of resources. Report equipment issues and excess resource allocation to avoid inefficiencies.
• Team Supervision: Lead and supervise the production team, handling daily tasks like time management, performance monitoring, and development of individual competencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• BTech/BEng in Industrial Engineering.
• Knowledge of HACCP, Quality Management Systems, GMP, and OHSACT.
• At least 2 years of FMCG Production/Operations experience.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Monitor raw material usage and maintain minimal wastage.
• Coordinate with the Processing Manager to solve quality and production issues.
• Ensure production output meets quality specifications, and report any non-conformance.
• Engage in staff training and development to improve technical competence and team performance.
• Maintain excellent workplace hygiene and organization throughout the production shift.
