Role Overview:

ANEW Hotel Parktonian is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager who will be responsible for delivering excellent service, creating positive customer experiences, and ensuring the efficient operation of the Food and Beverage department. The successful candidate will be based in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, and will manage the financial performance of the department while maintaining high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve budgeted revenue numbers for the Food & Beverage outlets.
• Oversee the financial performance of the F&B department, ensuring long-term sustainability.
• Maintain guest satisfaction by ensuring a high standard of service across all F&B outlets.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels for the F&B outlets.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Opera and Micros systems, with a focus on the Point of Sales.
• Maintain high levels of customer service, attention to detail, and cost control.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric certificate.
• Hospitality Certificate or Hospitality Management Diploma (advantageous).
• 5+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within a 4-star property.
• At least 18 months of management or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of Food and Beverage operations.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of IsiZulu and/or IsiXhosa will be an advantage.
• Strong time management, organizational, and numeracy skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
