Role Overview:

The Procurement Supervisor at Farmpack (Pty) Ltd will assist the department manager by overseeing and coordinating department activities and employees. The position ensures compliance, accuracy, and the timely preparation and delivery of stock, while monitoring stock requirements and maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect loads being received and ensure quality control.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels across various products.
• Efficiently manage stock levels and ensure accurate administrative records.
• Conduct stock counts as required and verify raw material specifications.
• Plan for and order raw materials based on production job cards.
• Assist in overseeing the department’s day-to-day operations and provide leadership.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 Equivalent.
• Forklift license and proven experience operating a forklift.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong mathematical literacy.
• Prior supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of paper and corrugated paper products is desirable.
• Leadership and organizational qualities with attention to detail.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexibility to accommodate business needs.

• Computer literacy.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, people management, and development skills.
• Knowledge of labour relations procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure, plan effectively, and handle reporting tasks.
