Job Overview:

The Junior Permit Officer will provide administrative support to the financial function of the Security Division at Sasol Secunda, ensuring that client and operational needs are met efficiently and professionally. This role involves maintaining accurate records, liaising with other business units, and supporting the security department with various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an accurate Master compliance file for service provider personnel.
  • Update and distribute control documents and record deviations to approved deployment matrices.
  • Take minutes at meetings and compile necessary documentation.
  • Handle and manage enquiries effectively.
  • Perform general office administration tasks, including document handling and management.
  • Liaise with internal and external business units and service providers.
  • Provide administrative support to the security department.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Promote a positive image of the company.
  • Maintain an effective follow-up system and record management.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • Grade 12/Matric.
    • A Financial Diploma/Degree will be advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • 2 to 3 years of Administrative/Financial experience.
    • Experience with SAP PtP (Procure to Pay) is preferred.
    • Must reside in Secunda or be willing to relocate at own cost.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • Strong written and verbal communication in English.
    • Excellent time management and office management skills.
    • Strong administrative and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information and work under pressure.
